Kendrick Wade Wright

Kendrick Wade Wright, affectionately known to family and friends as Wade, was born on September 24, 1975, to the late Kenneth and Carolyn Wright. From the very beginning, Wade was loved and cherished by his sister, Shannon, who adored her brother and shared a lifelong bond filled with love.

Wade carried humor, warmth, and a "larger-than-life" spirit that would become his hallmark.
A proud graduate of Justin F. Kimball High School, Class of 1994, Wade made his mark both in the classroom and on the field. He was a dedicated athlete who shined in football, track and field, and especially in cross-country-where his determination and drive truly stood out. After graduation, he continued his education at Tyler Junior College, always eager to grow, learn, and make the most of every opportunity.

On April 8, 1996, Wade welcomed his first son, Kalil Wright, beginning one of the most important roles of his life-fatherhood. The bond between Wade and Kalil was unbreakable, built on deep love, laughter, and life lessons that would carry on for generations.

Wade inherited his mother's vibrant personality-magnetic, joyful, and full of heart. His smile could fill a room, and his presence made everyone feel like family. He was a true lover of life and found his greatest happiness in the love he shared with his family.

For more than twenty beautiful years, Wade shared life with his beloved wife, Angel. Together they built a home filled with laughter, and love. From their union came three cherished children Kasmira, Kenzia, and Khajmil-each a reflection of their father's warmth and humor.

On March 14, 2025, Wade joyfully embraced a new title that filled his heart with pride: "G-Pop." The arrival of his grandson, Khepri, brought him immeasurable joy.

Wade will be remembered for his loyalty to those he loved, and his ability to make every moment count. He lived with purpose, loved without hesitation, and left an unforgettable mark on every heart he touched.
