With an infectious laugh, a heart of gold with the strong will and determination that was unsurpassed, Kenna Jo Conner, 62, of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania died at Hershey Medical Center on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
Kenna was born on December 14, 1963, to David and Louise (Plum) Conner of Chambersburg. She graduated from the Chambersburg Area School District before moving on to a long career with the Army in civilian service at Fort Detrick and prior to retirement with the Carlisle Army War College. A career highlighted by numerous awards and commendations for her service of our enlisted soldiers and officers.
Kenna is survived by her beloved cat, Chance. She will always be remembered for her love of all animals and giving spirit to anyone in need.
Most importantly, she will be remembered for her love of family that she held dear to her heart.
Arrangements for Kenna Conner will remain private at her request. Arrangements are entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Service of Chambersburg.
