Kennedy Jensen Hurst went to rest on April 28, 2025. Although we are devastated and heartbroken, we find peace that she is no longer in pain, and know her impact was out of this world.
Kennedy is survived by her mother, Ashley Pressley, Father, Justin Hurst, her Daddy B, Brian Pressley, step mother Molly Hurst, step siblings, Dylan Pressley, Matt Pressley, Ethan Pressley, Noah Pressley, her side kick Sam Pressley, her only sister (which she was very thankful for) Finley Hurst and Harker Hurst. Kennedy's Grandparents, Rex and Ann Satterfield and Marianne and Bob Bridger, her Aunt Hannah, and Uncle Al as well as several cousins, great aunts and uncles and the countless people she considered family and friends. The number of people she impacted and loved is far too many to count let alone name, but you know who you are.
Kennedy came into this world on her own terms on July 20, 2010. From that day she showed those that loved her how hard she can fight and how to be sweet, kind and loving no matter the circumstances. She went through milestones with that infectious "Kennedy smile" and contagious positive attitude. No matter what life threw at her, she could always brighten anyone that was feeling down and wanted to show love and kindness through everything she did, and she wanted others to do the same. Even though Kennedy was only here for 14 years, her impact will last forever, for those who had the extreme fortunate of meeting her and knowing her.
Even with her lifelong struggles with cerebral palsy, the pain and discomfort that came with it, she was always positive and that light changed how those in her world viewed life. Her bigger than life personality and positivity changed those in her family immediately to view life with more brightness and love, like Kennedy did.
The family is holding a private service to celebrate Kennedy's life.
