Kenneth Lynn Alvis 55, of Keosauqua, IA passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
He was born February 3, 1970 in Keokuk, IA the son of Kenneth Hugh and Susan Seyb Alvis.
He graduated from Topeka High School with the Class of 1988.
On March 29, 2018, Kenneth was united in marriage to Brier Gregg in Witchita, KS. She survives.
Kenneth had been employed with Hill Phoenix.
Kenneth enjoyed racing RC Cars and also enjoyed crafting and working with his hands, often creating projects. Above all else, Kenneth treasured time spent with his family and friends, valuing those moments of connection and togetherness.
In addition to his wife, Brier, Kenneth is survived by his two sons, Joey Barrows and Logan Putnam; two stepsons, Daniel Salyers and Jon Salyers and several beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Chris Washburn of Keokuk, four sisters, Lily Jones (David) of Keokuk, Mary Atchison (Robert) of Wichita, Jessica Yell (Anthony) of Wichita, and Tayla Alvis of Wichita; his stepmother, Ann Alvis of Wichita; and several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Johnny Ray Alvis and Carl Washburn; a sister, Amanda Dille; and two nephews, Alexander Yell and Angel Alvis.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
