Kenneth Andres passed away at his home in Red Deer, AB on Friday, June 14, 2024. Ken was 66 years of age.
Ken is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dixie; brothers, Robert (Judy) of Red Deer and Norm (Carol) of Taber; nieces, nephews; and grand-nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Lillian.
Ken was born in Spiritwood, SK. For awhile, he lived in Thompson, MB before then moving to Lethbridge, AB. It was there he met Dixie and they were married on July 2, 1983. In the late 80's, they then moved to Calgary where Ken worked in the warehouse at Scott National. Eventually, Ken and Dixie moved to Red Deer where they have lived for the past 20 years. Ken worked at a local car wash/convenience store as an attendant where he liked to meet and chat with the customers. He was very friendly. Upon retirement, he kept himself busy by buying and selling small electronic devices. Cremation at Foothills Crematorium in Calgary. Ken's final resting place is at the Rose Garden in the Rockyview Garden of Peace Cemetery in Calgary.
