Kenneth L. Angle Sr.

On June 13th Kenneth LeRoy Angle Sr. loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh.
Ken was born on June 16, 1933, the oldest of eight children, to the late James Rex and Josephine (Schoenauer) Angle Sr. in Oshkosh, WI. On October 8th, 1955 he was united in marriage to Eleanora "Ellie" (Hannes) at Sacred Heart Church in Oshkosh, WI. Ken was drafted into the Army and served in France during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at Morgan Door for more than 40 years, retiring in 1995. Ken was an avid gun and bow hunter for both deer and bear, who also enjoyed fishing and sturgeon spearing. He enjoyed multiple mule deer hunting adventures in Wyoming. Ken especially enjoyed hunting at the cottage with his son and daughter-in-law. He was also a long-time member of Ducks Unlimited and the Oshkosh Racing Pigeon Club.
Ken is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his wife Eleanora, three daughters, Greta Angle (Ben Elandt), Mary Charles, Lisa (Jeff) Eifolla, and one son Kenneth (Lindabeth) Angle Jr. Nine grandchildren: Nicole, Wendy, and Brandi Wirth; Loyde, Darrin (CA), and Dexter Charles; Ryan Gabriel (WA), Levi (Mara) Eifolla and Ken Angle III, seven great grandchildren. Two step granddaughters, Katie (Andy) Manthei (MN), Chris Feder, and five step great grandchildren. One sister Mary (Bob) Garbe and one brother Paul.
Ken will be missed by Kitzie, his beloved cat. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Gloria (Ray) Kortbein and four brothers, James Jr., Joe, Dave, Bill and Ryan's late wife Breckan.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a Mass celebrating his life held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 11 am in St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, corner of Sixth and Knapp Streets in Oshkosh. The Rev. Louis Golamari as celebrant. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 9 am until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.. The family wishes a special thank you to the Evergreen Retirement Community staff for their care and concern shown to Ken and his family.
