KENNETH ANGLIN Obituary
Lonnie Kenneth Anglin, age 90, of Iron City, GA passed away Monday afternoon, December 18, 2023, at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Anglin will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment will be held at Friendship Memorial Gardens. The family will speak with friends immediately following the service.
Mr. Anglin was born on August 20, 1933, in Donalsonville, GA to Lonnie Frank and Nettie Lamp Anglin. He was a tractor/farm mechanic, retiring from Council Farms Inc. in Ruskin, FL, but he could fix anything. Mr. Anglin loved fishing, working in the yards, and he especially enjoyed working in his woodworking shop. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 68 years, Mary Lou Toole Anglin of Iron City, GA; his sister, Sue Christopher of Florida; and several nephews and nieces.
Mr. Anglin was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Frank and Nettie Lamp Anglin; his brothers, Fred Anglin, Marvin Anglin, and L.V. Anglin; as well as two sisters, Earnestine Torres and Frances Jones.
