Obituary of Kenneth Edward Arends
Kenneth Edward Arends was born on August 6th, 1951 in Oakland, California to Mildred and Paul Arends. Ken passed away on November 5th, 2024 at home in Oroville, California. He was a precious husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved to fish, camp and loved to order trains for his train room. He also enjoyed visiting the Ocean at Fort Bragg, fixing antique cars especially his '47 Oldsmobile and watching his children and grandchildren grow up.
Ken is survived by his wife Carol Arends; his children Sonja Deming, Thomas Arends and Anthony Arends; his grandchildren Kaleb Deming, Chelsea Burruss, Jessica Daugherty and Tyler Arends; sisters, Cathy Barr and Taresea Sherman; Great Grandchildren Eliana Daugherty and Joshua Burruss and a little Burruss on the way; along with lots of family and friends. He is proceeded in death by his mother Mildred and his father Paul Arends, and his brother Paul Dennis Arends.
His graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd., Oroville, California 95966. With the Celebration of Life following the service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church 3785 Olive Hwy, Oroville, California 95966
