Kenneth William Barnes born March 24, 1988 to Debra Pryce and Kenneth Trent Barnes. He was a loving father to Alexis and Mackenzie and stepfather to Atom and Akirah. He dedicated his life to his wife Amanda Barnes. He left behind his step father Jake Pryce and siblings Matthew Barnes, Jessica Helms, Isaac Helms, Trindi Barnes and best friend and step brother Tim Pryce, half siblings Kenna and Scott. Kenneth was known for lighting up a room and making people laugh especially his many nieces and nephews Colin, Nataley, Aubree, Gracelynn, Xavier, Ryleigh, Noah, Jesse and Lilly. Kenneth was a man that worked many trades but welding was his passion. There are buildings made with his two hands that will stand against time. He was a father, son, husband, brother, uncle, friend to those of us left behind and like those building we are his legacy. His love and life carry on inside each of us. You are deeply missed but know you walk with all of us. We love you. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Morgan Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 11-1.
