Kenneth Ray "Kenny" Blackburn, Jr., age 63, of Sturgis, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at his home. Born on July 2, 1962, in Sturgis, he was the son of Kenneth Ray and Carolyn Blackburn. Kenny built a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and love. He retired after 26 years of dedicated service as a maintenance technician at Deaconess Hospital Union County in Morganfield, Kentucky. Whether on the job or at home, he was known for his steady hands, practical wisdom, and willingness to help anyone who needed him. Farming was one of Kenny's greatest joys. He found peace in the rhythm of the land and took pride in every acre he tended. He also had a deep love for 1970s music - the soundtrack of his life - and he never missed a chance to share a favorite song or memory. Above all, Kenny cherished his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he embraced every moment spent with them.

Kenny's presence, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
