In Loving Memory of Kenneth Daniel Blakeley May 23, 1983 - July 28, 2025 Kenneth Daniel Blakeley, 42, of Cathedral City, California, passed away on July 28, 2025, from complications related to liver failure. Born in Palm Springs, California, Kenny was the beloved son of Kenneth R. Blakeley and Elizabeth J. Blakeley. He was the oldest full-blood child of his parents, and the third of four siblings in a blended family. He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth J. Blakeley and Kenneth R. Blakeley, older sister Shannon D. Ackerman, older brother Derek S. Meyers, younger sister Michelle A. McDaniel (and her husband Gregg McDaniel), as well as his cherished nieces and nephew, Luke, Nora and Paige McDaniel, and his life partner, Rashell Blakeley. Kenny had a generous heart and a deep capacity for love. He lived with intensity, always ready for the next adventure and often pushed the limits, for better or worse. Those who knew him remember him as the life of the party, someone who could light up a room with laughter and connection. Though he faced a long battle with addiction, Kenny never stopped showing up for the people he loved. He was fiercely loyal, deeply supportive, and had a way of making others feel seen and valued. A private memorial will be held for family and close friends on August 8th, 2025 at 10:00 am at Joshua Tree Memorial Park.
