Edward Blakeley Obituary

Edward Allen Blakeley, 69, passed away on January 4, 2026. He was born on July 26, 1956, to Charles and Lorraine (Clark) Blakeley and grew up in Calistoga, California where he remained closely connected to the community throughout his life. He graduated from Calistoga High School, Class of 1975. Shortly after, he married the love of his life, Nola Wall in 1977.

Edward was known as a selfless, dependable, and hardworking man who made everyone feel welcome. He devoted much of his time to youth athletics and community service in Calistoga. He was instrumental in bringing youth football back to the community and was deeply involved in Calistoga Little League, serving as a coach and board member. He was also a longtime member of the Calistoga Athletic Wildcats Boosters Club.

Professionally, Edward worked alongside his brother and sister at Blakeley Construction, the family business, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

Outside of his work and community involvement, Edward especially enjoyed riding his Harley and valued the sense of freedom and peace he found on the road.

Edward is survived by his spouse, Nola; his sons, Charlie, Jacob, David, and Nathan; his grandchildren, Karin, Delaney, Cooper, Aria, and Adelyn; his sister, Ann; and his brother, Dick.

A service will be held from 1 pm to 4 pm on February 28, 2026 at the Tubbs Building in the Calistoga Fairgrounds in Calistoga, California.

His life was one of service, integrity and love, and his legacy will continue through the countless lives he touched. Edward Allen Blakeley
