Kenneth Paul Bowsher, 74, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed from this life on Wednesday November 5, 2025 in UPMC Presbyterian. He was born on December 14, 1950 in Lima, OH, the son of Wendell Paul and Ruth Elizabeth (Goble) Bowsher. On April 9, 1983 he married Bonnie Lou Carroll, who preceded him in death on March 16, 2025.
Surviving is his daughter, Connie L. Bowsher, his son, Ashelia S. Bowsher, both of Pittsburgh; a sister, Carol Walsh, Dayton; Cathy Lauterhahn, FL; and Wendy, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Charles Wendell Bowsher, and Kenneth Paul Bowsher, Jr., and a brother, Michael Bowsher.
Kenneth had worked for USEC of Piketon, OH, and later for the Bettis Plant in Pittsburgh, PA as a chemical engineer. Kenneth loved to coach Connie and Ashelia in soccer when they were kids, he also loved books, having several hundred in this collection. His favorites to read were Fantasy and Sci-Fi. Kenneth was also a loving and devoted caregiver for his wife Bonnie, during her illness.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday November 11, 2025 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, with Nick Bevan, officiating. Public calling hours will not be observed.
