Kenneth Lee Brewton, who resided near Lavaca, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Ashton Place Manor in Barling. He was born on January 26, 1947, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late Floyd Lawrence Brewton and Emma Williams Brewton. He was 77 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred Brewton; a sister, Darlene Brewton; and a brother, Bennie Brewton.
For many years, Kenny was a roofer and later in years, Kenny sold real estate for Ron Calhoun & Associates in Fort Smith. He was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 5th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. Harlin Brewton officiating. Burial will follow at Tate Cemetery, located west of Vesta, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by a daughter, Julie Parker and husband Tony of Greenwood; a son, Dana Brewton of Fort Smith; a brother, Larry Brewton of Barling; and two grandchildren, Remington Griffith and Timberlan Griffith.
Pallbearers are Marlin Brewton, Harlin Brewton, Brent Brewton, Alex Brewton, Tony Parker, and Remington Griffith.
There will not be a visitation prior to the funeral service and there will not be a committal service at Tate Cemetery.

I will miss my old friend! We had a lot of good visits at the Lavaca Senior Center and in his home. He could be a hoot. Glad I can say he was my buddy.
