Kenneth Douglas Brown, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 26, 2025, at the age of 70.

Born on August 1, 1955, in Huntsville, Alabama, Ken lived a life marked by kindness, integrity, and quiet strength. He was known for his unwavering devotion to his family, his sharp wit, and his generous spirit. Whether offering a helping hand or sharing a warm smile, Ken made those around him feel seen and valued.

Ken spent many years volunteering his time to The Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts, First Christian Church, the Soccer Community, and anyone else who asked of his time. Ken's love of music was a thread woven through his life. He often played guitar-at home or simply among friends-and passed down his musical knowledge to his children and grandchildren. Whether harmonizing in the choir or strumming familiar tunes, Ken found joy in sharing music with those he loved. He will be remembered for his kindness, integrity and unwavering love for family.

He is survived by his wife, Daphne Augg Brown; sons, Justin Dane Brown (Paige) and Caleb Daniel Brown; grandson, Caden Eaker; granddaughter, Shelby Brown; his mother, Carolyn Weston Brown; sisters, Suanne (Michael) Yarbrough and Annette Brown; and many dear friends and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 18, 2025, location and time to be determined. Family and friends will gather to honor Ken's life and legacy.
