Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions - Beavercreek ChapelIt is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, and friend, Kenneth Brown, who was called home to join his Heavenly Father. Kenneth, 74, died unexpectedly on Friday morning, February 6, 2026, at his home in Springboro, Ohio.
Though his struggle with emphysema often left him feeling sluggish, when he felt well, you could hear him whistling or singing as he moved through his daily routines. Kenneth filled his time researching genealogy, appreciating classic cars, creating menus (usually for someone else to cook), listening to his favorite music, and mentoring fellow electricians, tradesmen, and colleagues. He enjoyed his final week living as he routinely chatted with friends and family. He will be deeply missed.
Kenneth William Brown, son of Margaret and Carl Brown of Beavercreek, Ohio, was born on February 17. He leaves behind his loving wife, Sharon K. Brown; his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Joy Brown; and his children Amber Brown, Bartholomew and Amy Brown, Abraham and Rachael Brown, and Brook and Bill Johnson. He was a proud grandfather to ten beloved grandchildren: Kaveney, Kyllian, and Noah Aldridge; Ashlyn and Jalynn Brown; Isaac, Malachi, and Uriah Brown; and Liam and Aubrey Johnson.
Kenny was preceded in death by many loved ones whom he cherished and revered. He spoke often of those who went before him, keeping their memories alive through stories and treasured anecdotes.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Way of the Cross Church, 612 Beatrice Dr., Dayton, where Funeral Services will begin at 12:00pm, with Rev. William R. Loudermilk officiating. Burial will follow at Aley Chapel Cemetery, in Beavercreek.
