Kenneth Cole

1935 - 2026

Kenneth (Ken/Kinney) Wayne Cole Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on February 5, 2026 after a short illness.

Born October 15, 1935, he graduated from Ponotoc High School excelling in football. He attended Itawamba Community College and soon after moved to Grenada, Mississippi where he started his family. Ken was an avid sports fan, especially devoted to his beloved Mississippi State Bulldogs. He lived his 90 years to the fullest by enjoying trips to Mississippi with his sons, visiting his daughter in South Carolina, hanging out with friends at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and spending time with his family and friends in Mississippi. He will be remembered for his dedication and love to all the wonderful people in his life.

Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Cole; parents, Lester and Hattie Cole; and two sisters, Mary Ethel Gregory and Emogene Prewett. He is survived by his sister, Dot Lipe; his children, Ken Cole Jr., Rhonda Beckey (Scott), Jason Cole (April), and Scott Cole; his grandchildren, Khara, Elaine, Alissa (Tyler), Brody, Matthew, and Kaitlynn; and two great grandsons, Leo and Levi. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A service will be held on April 4th, at Robb's Cemetery at 11 am with lunch immediately following at the Randolph Center. Ken's children would like to thank all those in their dad's life, he spent a lifetime surrounded by love. He touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
