Kenneth J Connelly

Kenneth James Connelly, 91, of Manchester died Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Community Medical Center. Born in New York, NY, he lived in State Island for 46 years before moving to Manchester in 2005 and wintering in Edge Water, FL for the last 25 years. He served in the Army from 1954-1956 during the Korean War. He worked at Verizon for 46 years and as a Senior Official in Communications at Holmes Agency, NY, NY. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, tending to his tomato and rose garden, and playing poker. He loved being with his friends from Staten Island and having a good debate. He is predeceased by his daughter, Christine Revello in 2022. Surviving is his beloved wife of 68 years, Maureen Connelly, daughters, Maureen Connelly Barry, Claire O'Toole, Eileen Romano, grandchildren, Joseph, Kenneth, Caitlin, Timothy, Michael, Tara, Brianna, Brendan, Christopher, Nicholas, Great Grandchildren, Abigail, Joseph, Luke, Julia, Cameron, and one on the way. A memorial gathering will be held Tuesday 10am-1pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Inurnment to follow at Brigadier General William C Doyle Veteran Cemetery, Arneytown.
