As a young man he served valiantly in the California, Arizona mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved to sing. He sang with the ward choir and recruited his children; singing throughout his life. He served faithfully as a ward clerk for many years.
He loved serving in the Temple and those around him. He was the first to volunteer to set up chairs and take them down before and after church meetings. He even found a way to carry folding chairs on his lap, while sitting in his wheelchair. He loved the Lord and faithfully kept the Commandments.
He had a tremendous sense of humor that would lift and bless all those around him. He kept a positive attitude for the entire duration of the sixteen years that he was bed bound. He loved to serve others and was so blessed by others who served him. Ken and his family would like to extend gratitude to the many who served him along his journey of life.
