Kenneth Charles Conwell, age 67, devoted husband of Nancy Kennedy Conwell, passed away on Sunday, October 29. Loving father of Dan (Katie), Sean (Taran), and Maggie and the best Papa to his treasures: Ella, Danny, Patty, Georgia, Kerrigan, and Cillian.
Ken was the dear brother of the late Don and Laurie Conwell, the late Terry (Toni) Conwell, the late Pam (Les) Meyer, Patty (Bob) Toth, Penny (Rob) Roman, and Chris (Sue) Conwell; Dearest son of the late Don and Eleanor Conwell. Ken came from a large family, and was the cherished cousin, uncle, brother-in-law and friend to so many. Ken cherished his in-laws: Lisa and Gary Radville, Joe and Lynne Kennedy, Maura Kennedy, Meg and Roman Brozny, and Joanne Kennedy.
Growing up on the South Side of Chicago, Ken attended Gage Park High School. After their marriage in 1979, Ken and Nancy raised their children in Evergreen Park, attending St. Bernadette Church. Avid sports fan of any Chicago team or his grandchildren's teams, Ken cheered them all on with a smile. Proud member of the Indian Creek Ranch Club. Ken was extremely intelligent, a master at trivia. He loved educating himself about aviation and science. Ken spent many years of his career driving a truck for different companies, retiring in 2022 from Fed Ex.
