Kenneth Cox Obituary
A native of Spartanburg County, a son of the late Walter Palmer and Viola Davis Cox; he was a retired Veteran of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army; and also retired from E. P. Equipment Company and member of West Spartanburg Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Marie Willis Cox, of the home; a daughter, Donna Cox Woody (Ricky) of Duncan; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sons, Timothy Mark Cox and Michael Kenneth Cox; two brothers, Willliam Cox and Johnny Cox; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2024, at West Spartanburg Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Casey Rogers, Rev. Jackie Bridwell and Rev. Dennis King. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at the church prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to West Spartanburg Baptist Church, 431 Silver Lake Road, Duncan, SC 29334.
