Kenneth Daniel Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 23, 2026.
Kenneth Jerry Daniel was born on the October 28, 1941, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Ernest Ray and Ruth Lurene (Locke) Daniel. His journey came to a peaceful close on February 21, 2026, leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate to know him.

Kenneth was a man of many talents, and he wore several hats throughout his life. As a cowboy, a horseshoer, and a truck driver, he was never one to shy away from hard work or a new challenge. His entrepreneurial spirit was truly remarkable, and he was best known for his unique ability to fabricate and weld anything, from jewelry to trailers, buildings, and even planes for the government in the sixties. Yet it was not just his accomplishments that defined him. Kenneth was a loving soul, deeply devoted to his family and his love for the Lord. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Ann (Williams) Daniel, son, Jerry Daniel and his wife Angie, daughters, Starla Goodger and Thomas Petty, Roxanne Daniel and David Hammons, a bonus son Rundall Starnes. Grandchildren Clay Daniel, Calli Daniel, Chance Goodger, Heather and Jesse Sellers, Hannah Hunter and great grandchildren Jaxson Sellers, Elizabeth Sellers, Lucy Pena, and Auroa Daniel.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Lurene Daniel and one brother Billy Ray Daniel.

The love and loyalty that Kenneth brought to his relationships, especially with his family, will forever be remembered and cherished.

A celebration of life will be held at the Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Granbury, Texas at a later date.

May his memory and love for the Lord continue to inspire us, today and always.
