Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors - AugustaGrovetown, GA – Father, son, nephew, brother, uncle, friend, Kenneth Jason Daniels, age 47, of Waynesburg, PA, passed away on February 21, 2026 at Grovetown, Georgia after a four year battle with liver disease. Ken, born on June 17, 1978 in Johnstown, PA, to Kenneth A. and Phyllis E. Daniels. He grew up in Boswell, PA and attended Riverside Christian Academy, graduated from North Star High School, and then studied Graphic Art Design at Pittsburgh Technical Institute. Ken was known for his humor, love for camping, campfires, and music. He is remembered as being a talented artist and graphics master.
Ken was rarely seen without his loyal companion, Chance. Chance was more than just a pet; he was a constant source of comfort and joy. Chance will remain in the care of family.
Ken is survived by his two sons, Henry and Owen; sister, Melissa (Robert) Whitacre, father, Kenneth A. (Helen) Daniels; mother, Phyllis E. Daniels; uncle, Jay Daniels; nephew, Noah (Erin) Whitacre; niece, Helen Whitacre; and lifelong friends, Michele Zoldey and George (Vern) Turner. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on April 11, 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Quemahoning Reservoir, the Que, with a meal for all guests to follow. Ken’s favorite color was orange, please feel free to wear that color in honor of him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission for Miracles.
