KENNETH DALE DRINNON, age 78, of Jefferson City, TN passed away peacefully on August 8, 2024. Preceded in death by his parents Jason Glenn Drinnon and Eula Iola Denton Drinnon. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sarah “Sue” Drinnon; children, Kenneth Scott Drinnon (Gail), Shanda Sue Drinnon Lee (Thomas); grandson, Zachary Thomas Lee; brother, Steve Drinnon (Mary Nell); special cousin, Sarah Jane Sharp; nephew, Doug Drinnon (Holly); nieces, Anita Haney (Scott) and Annie Watkins (Chip); nephew, Nicholas Creekmore; sisters-in-law, Denise Creekmore and Teresa Derrick; and his very special friends the class of ’64 Jefferson City High School. Special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and Serenity House for their loving care. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Bud Slaton officiating. Graveside service will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of Hospice Serenity House, 421 N High Street, Morristown, TN 37814.
