Stephen Eugene Drinnon, born on December 25, 1955, peacefully passed away on October 23, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Stephen's life was a testament to kindness, faithfulness, and love.
Stephen was preceded in death by his first wife, Cynthia Drinnon, who passed away on January 2, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Terri Davis Drinnon, and his five cherished daughters: Melissa Clark (Mark), Jessica Drinnon, Keisha Gregory (C.J.), Trisha Kelley (Josh), and Jackie Johnson (Kyler). He is also survived by his treasured stepdaughter, Stephanie Manley, and a beautiful legacy of grandchildren: Cady Combs (Seth), Lori Peagler, Lucas Clark, Shay Gregory, Charlie Gregory, Christian Gregory, Harper Kelley, Daxtin Miles, Noah Morgan, and Grayson Morgan, along with his great-granddaughter, Amaris Combs.
Stephen was the beloved son of Kenzie Eugene Drinnon and Rosalee Drinnon, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his brothers, Randy (Marsha), David (Debbie), Joey (Rhonda), and his sister, Rita (Dale Livesay). He leaves behind many nieces and nephews with whom he shared countless memories, playing ball, hunting, fishing, and camping over the years.
Stephen's life exemplified the spirit of Proverbs 3:3-4: "Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man." He embraced kindness in all his interactions, reminding us of Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his beloved church, Lost Creek Friends Quaker Church, where he found community and solace.
Stephen will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us.
Funeral service 6:00 pm Monday, October 27, 2025, at Lost Creek Friends Quaker Church. Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Friend Station Cemetery. Fielden Funeral Home is honored to serve the Drinnon Family.
