Kenneth Dwayne Duke, 82 of Valley View, Texas passed away on January 10, 2026 at his home peacefully. He was born on March 25, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas to Willard Duke, Jr. and Ruby Lee (Shahan) Duke. He always wanted to see the world and travel, so he joined the United States Air Force in 1961. Kenneth was stationed in Dyess Air Force base in Abilene and also Amarillo, Texas where he completed Pneudraulic School and worked on planes. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and was raised to Master Mason on March 29, 1984. Kenneth married Sue Kennedy on July 5, 1983 in Oklahoma. Kenneth retired as Machinist after 30 years from Otis Engineering. His hobby was wood working in his shop.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Sue Duke; son, Dubby Scrivner and wife, Holly of Lubbock, Texas; daughter, Sandy Hull and husband, Bennie of Mesquite, Texas; niece, Keri Herlong and husband, Jason of Gardnerville, Nevada; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 2:00pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas with Brother Hollis Parsons officiating.
