Kenneth Raye Ehn, Age 72, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, Cook County, on November 15, 1950 to Stanley Oscar Ehn and Mary Virginia Naughton. He was the third of five children born to this union. David, Roger, Kenny, Ginger and Kathy. He also had 2 older half brothers, Bill of Wisconsin and Tom Lenhart of Illinois.
Kenny loved the outdoors. He was a camper, hunter, fisherman, woodworker and family man. He was also an avid Packer and Brewer fan. He loved his family and friends more than anything else. He always found time to spend with them and he always made everybody laugh. He was loved by all who knew him. Kenny had a strong faith in God.
He moved with his family from the Chicago (homestead) area at about the age of 3 to Winter, WI. He was schooled in the Winter School System and graduated in 1968 from Winter High School and from WITC. His parents owned and operated the Ojibwa Park Lodge when Kenny was young. His father was the butcher at the Winter Co-op for many years.
Kenny worked as a machinist most of his working life. He also had a degree in Mechanical Design.
He was married to Mary Dennis in 1968. From this union 3 children were born. Jennifer (Tim) Calhoun, Robert Ehn and Angela Hoen. They divorced in 1974. He was married to Lynn Hansen from 1980 until his death. From this union one child was born Shannon Ehn of Rice Lake, WI.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn; his children Jennifer (Tim) Calhoun, Robert Ehn, Angela Hoen and Shannon Ehn; eleven grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Ginger (Jeff) Smith and Kathy Larson; brothers, Bill and Tom; many in-laws, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, brothers, David and Roger; sister-in-law, Diane Moen; niece, Nikki Larson; nephew, Josh Voda; several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services will be held at 12PM Friday, March 10, 2023 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Rev. Cody Kargus officiating, with interment in Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held from 10AM-12PM Friday, March 10 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations would be appreciated.
