Kenneth L English

Kenneth L. English of Ridgefield, Washington passed away at Emanuel Hospital on October 9, 2025. Ken was born in Vancouver, WA to Robert and Lois English, graduated from Hudson's Bay High School in 1965, and later graduated from Clark College before he went into the United State's Army. He retired from the Army as a Sergeant Major and also retired from Ross Island Sand and Gravel.

Ken loved to travel (recently Cathy and him explored Europe together), play golf, read, be with his family and grandchildren, and was an active cougar fan. Ken enjoyed spending time with lifelong friends from Hudson's Bay High School, Active 20/30 club, and his RV group.

Ken lived a full and wonderful life. He is survived by his wife; Cathy of 57 years, his son Dean, his daughter Debbie (son in law - David), sister Carol (brother in law - Rick), and brother in law - Paul. His grandchildren Ethan, Kathryn, Jolin and David. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Susan.

Ken served as a board member for a fun, educational camp for children diagnosed with Diabetes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Gale's Creek Youth Diabetic Camp at Galescreekcamp.org
