Loomis Family Funeral Home - ApopkaKenneth (Ken) E.J. Fabian, 69, passed away March 25, 2026 at home.
Ken was born July 14, 1956 in Queens, NY. He was the son of the late Eugene F. Fabian and the late Eva L. (Anderson) Fabian.
Ken spent his teen years in Miami where he was an active member of Future Farmers of America. He went on to earn a degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in Tifton, Georgia.
Ken was a long time resident of Apopka, Florida. He owned and operated his own landscape and design company in his beloved adopted town.
In 2007 Ken founded the Multiple Myeloma Support Group, which continues to help many people and families still today. Ken was well loved and respected by his Multiple Myeloma family and friends.
Ken is survived by his sisters, Kathleen M. Crelot, NY, Barbara A. Duane (William), NY, Patricia J. Mancini, NY, Deborah J. Wiands, FL and brother Brain G. Fabian (Lucy), FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Ken was deeply loved by his family and friends. His warm smile and laugh will remain in our hearts forever.
Donations may be made in Ken’s memory to myeloma.org or plant a tree in memory of Ken.
A Gathering of Friends will be held on April 18, 2026 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Loomis Funeral Home (420 West Main Street, Apopka, Florida 32712); with a service at 11:00. The Graveside service will follow at Edgewood Greenwood Cemetery.
