WESTERLY - Kenneth T. Federico, beloved husband for 58 years of the late Constance Connie A. (Cugini) Federico, of Westerly, passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2025, at the age of 88.

Born in Westerly, Ken was the son of the late Rico and Angeline Federico. He graduated from Westerly High School, Class of 1954, and later from Johnson & Wales University. A proud veteran, he served in the U.S. Army. Professionally, Ken worked in payroll at companies including Davis-Standard, Harris Graphics, and later serving as head of payroll at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Ken was a devoted Catholic and a faithful communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Bradford, RI. He was also a lifetime member of the BPOE Elks and a proud, long-serving member of the Mount Carmel Feast Committee.

An avid New York Yankees fan, Ken found his greatest joy in supporting his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren - always attending their sporting events and celebrating their achievements.

He is survived by his five children: Rick M. Federico and his wife Sherry, Diann M. Thompson and her husband Ron, Kerri S. Federico, Beth A. Bailey and her husband Matthew, all of Westerly, and Kris G. Federico and his wife Danielle of Cohasset, MA. He was predeceased by his brother, Henry Federico. Ken is also survived by twelve grandchildren who adored him: Chase Zoglio (Samantha), Laura Donohue, Megan Zoglio (Gina), Luke Federico (Brianna) Alyssa Clowes (Jake), Amanda Federico, Jessica Federico, Isaiah Bailey, Sofia Federico, Faith Bailey, Andrew Federico, and Ava Federico. He also leaves behind ten beloved great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Joseph Dotolo for his dedicated and compassionate care.

Visiting hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 3, at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Bradford, RI. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, is in charge of arrangements. My deepest condolences to the entire family for the loss of a wonderful man. Cousin Ken was like an older brother to me and living next door on West St. I would visit almost every day to see him and Connie and later the children through my teen years. We later worked together at Cottrell Co. /Harris Graphics. He was a wonderful friend, a great father and husband and was loved by everyone who ever met him. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Sorry to learn of your Dads passing as we are away.. Our thoughts & prayers for you all and for him
I can recall meeting him during the early years with your Mom on Spruce Street and Haswell Street with the Ventresca Family and Selvidio Family and of course over the years with his Brother Henry and his father RICO and mom Angeline
They all enjoyed the best days of our town and the beaches too.
And I also recall seeing them at BC football games during the Flutie era on his way to New Hampshire for his Bourbon...
