Kenneth W. Flaherty, age 86 of Louisville, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025. He was born on February 1, 1939 in Paynesville, Kentucky. He was raised by his very devoted and loving aunts and uncles. Kenneth worked for Swope Pontiac for 37 years. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Kenneth had a wonderful sense of humor and loved life. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Loretta Flaherty.
Kenneth is survived by his four devoted children, John Flaherty (Beth), Kendri Beck (Randy), Kim Davis (Sam) and Keith Flaherty (Theresa); sister, Elaine Ganote; 7 grandchildren, Joseph, Jeffrey, Bradley, Lauren, Samantha, Cameron and Brandi; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, May 5, 2025 and from 9:30 am to time of service at 11 am on Tuesday, May 6th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. A graveside service will be on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 11:00 am at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
Memorials may be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville.
