MT. MORRIS ~ Kenneth F. Foss, age 84, passed away peacefully at Allure of Pinecrest, in Mt. Morris, IL, on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. He was born the son of Henry and Anna (Leifeld) Foss on February 19, 1939, in Hastings, MN. He married the love of his life Donna DalPorto on December 28, 1963, in Chicago, IL. Ken was truly an outdoorsman, which was shown through his love of things like landscaping, taking walks, and watching the birds. He would always have a project around the house whether it was with his model railroads or just working on something, he always loved to stay busy. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jerome & Duane Foss, sister Andrea, and son Jody. He is survived and dearly missed by his wife Donna of Mt. Morris, IL; sons Kevin ( Patti) Foss of Bella Vista AR and Brian (Renee) Foss of Oregon, IL; brothers Donald (Deanna) Foss of MN; William (Linda) Foss of MN; Dennis ( Shirley) Foss of MN; Marvin (Margie) Foss MN, and Raymond Foss of WI; and his grandchildren Justen (Victoria), Kelsey (Bird), Jenna, Kyle, and Brianna (Jacob). Funeral services will be held in his honor on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home starting at 12:00 pm with Father Joseph Naill of St. Mary's Catholic Church presiding. A visitation will be held prior starting at 10:00 am until the services at 12:00 pm. Kenneth will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Oregon, IL following the services at the funeral home. The family has asked if you wish to attend the services that you, please wear a mask to prevent the spread of Covid.
