Kenneth Scott Fowler, better known as “Kenny”, 56 of the Dews Pond Community, departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2025 while working outdoors.
Kenny was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on September 1, 1968, the son of Billy Ray Fowler and the late Eileen Kinman Fowler. He grew up in Calhoun and attended Gordon Central High School, where he was on the football team. He loved being outdoors, fishing, and hunting, and in his younger years, he played softball on various church league and open league teams. He loved his wife and children dearly and cherished his many friends. He was employed by TCW Inc. as a truck driver and was a member of Echota Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Amanda Star Brewer Fowler; daughter, Makenna Fowler; son, Jackson Fowler; sister, Kimberly Fowler; special uncle and aunt, Ralph and Gail Kinman; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A service to celebrate Kenny’s life will be conducted Monday, February 17th at 3:00 PM from Echota Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Lucas Butler and Rev. Ralph Kinman officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery, with Rev. Brad Kinman in charge of the graveside service. Pallbearers serving will include Rivers Defriese, Jason Defriese, Levi Sullivan, Steve Burk, Hudson Kinman, Brad Kinman and Matt Gentry.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 17th, from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home.
