Kenneth Godfrey Obituary
Kenneth Ray Godfrey, 77, of 164 Victor Avenue Ext., Greer, SC, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum.
Ray was born in Spartanburg County, SC on May 12, 1948, a son of the late Blanche (Lowe) Godfrey and John Godfrey.
He was the husband of Martha Ramona (Redd) Godfrey, worked as a brick mason and was a member of O'Neal Baptist Church in Greer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Rene Godfrey Harris, of Inman, SC; Cheryl Denise Waldrop, of Spartanburg, SC, grandchildren, Jordan Harris of Oklahoma, Dylan Harris of Inman, Kaleb Harris of Inman, Emily Gosnell of Greer, Lindsey Gosnell of Spartanburg and Sarah Oliver of Spartanburg, great grandchildren, Aidyn Hurlburt of Inman, Janey Harris of Oklahoma, Milly Harris of Oklahoma, Logan Harris of Chesnee, Harper Harris of Inman and 2 stepsons, Billy and Barry Norris.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 17th at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, SC with Dr. Dennis Holtzclaw and Rev. Joe Seay officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
Burial will be in Shiloh Memorial Cemetery in Inman, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Upstate Community Hospice House, 260 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, SC 29356.
