Kenneth Heater Obituary

2025. He was born on December 1, 1940, in Belleville, Kansas, to Ruth and Ben Heater.
Kenneth proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the 101st Airborne
Division. Following his military service, he pursued higher education and became a
chiropractor-a career he dedicated himself to for 50 years, with most of his practice
serving the community of Willcox, Arizona. His patients knew him for his compassion, his
skilled hands, and his deep commitment to their health and well-being.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Paula Heater; his children, Terri (Doug) Odegaard,
Ben (Kelly) Heater, Todd (Nancy) Heater, and Monica (Lance) Welch; his stepchildren, Chris
Headrick and Michael Headrick; his sister, Darlene Tuma; and numerous grandchildren and
great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alberta Heater, and his granddaughter, Bailey
Mangum.
A private family graveside service will be held to honor Kenneth's life and legacy. His family
takes comfort in knowing he lived with courage, integrity, and love, leaving behind a legacy
that will continue through all who knew him.
