In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Richard Higgins; one brother, Worth Higgins; and three sisters, Iris Higgins Cole, Elizabeth Higgins Melton, and Sharon Higgins Plichta.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Shelbie Feimster Higgins; three children, Scott Higgins (wife, Tina), Lori Higgins Rohs, and Brad Hayes (wife, Kim); seven grandchildren, Blain, Blair, Griffin, Mattie, Grayson, Sally, and Will; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson, Porter, and Graham; one brother, Robert Dean Higgins; and one sister, Imogene Higgins Frye.
A service to celebrate Kenneth’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Sam Barlett officiating.
