Died: October 5, 2024 in Tunja, Colombia
Kenneth R. Hirschberg, age 59 formerly of Plainfield passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, as a result of a traffic accident in San Rafael Hospital, Tunja Colombia. He was born December 5, 1964, in Chicago, the son of Kenneth and Phyllis (Michalovic) Hirschberg.
Kenneth was a graduate of Romeoville High School and California State in Los Angeles, CA. He worked as a financial analyst and bilingual teacher. Kenneth traveled the world, spending several years in Europe and South America.
Surviving is his mother, Phyllis Weinhold of Manteno; one sister and brother-in-law, Karyn and Dale Bowman of Manteno, three nephews, Joshua Clothier, David Bowman, Sam Bowman; one niece, Sara Bowman; and one great niece, Julia Clothier.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Tom Weinhold; paternal grandparents, Richard and Virginia Hirschberg, Robert and Ruth Weinhold; and maternal grandparents, Stephen and Elsie Michalovic.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Manteno.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
