Kenneth L. Homler, 90, of Gibsonburg OH, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Toledo Hospital. He was born on December 28, 1934 in Fremont, OH to Alfred and Geneva (Stewart) Homler. Kenneth served in the US Airforce and was honorably discharged.
Kenneth married Helga Dietrich in Czechoslovakia in 1957 and she survives. He worked for Martin Marietta as a quarryman and retired after twenty years of service.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Helga Homler, Gibsonburg, OH; children, Patricia Danneberger, Fostoria, OH, Elaine McLaughlin, Northwood, OH, Karen Trevino, Fort Wayne, IN, Richard Homler, Gibsonburg, OH; grandchildren, Bryan Danneberger, Mike Danneberger, Sarah Danneberger, Andrew McLaughlin, Steven McLaughlin, David Spence, Daniel Trevino, Olivia Hoisington, Jacob Hoisington, Alexander Homler, Samantha Homler; great-grandchildren, Mickey, Eli, Isabella, Lucy, Max, Conor, Patrick, Jack, Sullivan, Ana, Alayana, Asher, Payton and Grayson. Kenneth also has three remaining sisters.
He is preceded in death by his parents and many siblings.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.
Services will begin at 1:00 pm following visitation at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
