Kenneth "Ken" P. Jacobs Jr. 47 of Streator passed away suddenly Wednesday (October 8, 2025) at his home.
Ken was born on March 24, 1978, in Phoenix, AZ to Kenneth Paul and Catherine Ann (Galbate) Jacobs Sr.
Surviving are his children, Payton "Cas" Jacobs of Vickory, OH, Austin (Olivia Perez) Jacobs of Streator and Gavin Jacobs of Tonica, mother, Cathy (Joe) Fialko of Streator, sister Laura (Bob) Hays of Ancona, brother, Michael (Amanda) Jacobs of Manville, nephews and niece, Fred Wissen, Matthew and Jonathon Hays, Tori and Christian Jacobs.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lester and Betty Lou Galbate.
Ken attended Streator Grade Schools and graduated from Streator High School in 1996. He was employed at Vactor Mfg and formerly at the Paintery for many years.
He was an avid pool player, he enjoyed fishing, kayaking, camping, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He had a smile everyone loved, an infectious laugh, and he never met a stranger everyone he met was a friend to him.
A visitation will be held Sunday from 3 – 6 P.M. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with services following at 6 P.M. A celebration of life will be held in his honor at Parkway, in Streator, IL.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Eric Holofchak, Donovan Edwards, Brian Lehman, Joe Sliker and Victor Raul Contreras.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
