Mr. Kenneth Larry "K.L" Jowers, 77, of Clearwater, SC, beloved husband of fifty-five years to Florilee Franklin Jowers, entered into rest on Sunday, October 27, 2024, in the comfort of his home.
A lifelong area resident, he was the son of the late Henry and Effie Seago Jowers. He retired from CSX after thirty years as an engineer. Kenneth loved to fish, and in his younger years, he enjoyed baseball. Fishing trips took Florilee and Kenneth to Beaufort and even as far as Key West.
In addition to his wife, family members include sons Kenneth Jowers II and Walt Jowers, a sister, Marilyn Reames, and his beloved fur child, Beauregard.
Also preceding Kenneth in death were siblings Marvin Jowers and Donald Wayne Jowers, a fur child, Beir and a dear friend, Mike Dickerson.
In honoring his wishes, Kenneth will be cremated, and services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. (www.woundedwarriorproject.org)

I will always cherish the memories of working with K L for many years. He was truly "one of a kind " guy and I mean that in a good way, with a smile on my face when I saw it. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your family. I know all of the good times will surely be missed. May God Bless the family of Ken Jowers
