Kenneth Alan "Ken" Kamm, 64, of DeKalb, Ill., passed away, Oct. 27, 2025, at home.

Born June 7, 1961, in Sycamore, the son of Robert A. and Shirley I. (Vincent) Kamm, Ken was a Sycamore High School graduate and worked at Northern Illinois University as a library aide.

Ken enjoyed being the family historian and traveling to see family and friends. He was an avid I-Love-Lucy collector. Ken will be forever remembered for being outgoing, authentic, and independent, even with his physical challenges.

Ken is survived by his sister, Debie Trotter of Rantoul; nieces and nephews, Erin (Jesse) Trotter-Trujillo of Urbana, Joshua Trotter of Rantoul, and Eric Trotter of Rankin; two great-nephews; two-great-nieces; and other close family members.

He was predeceased by his parents and an unborn brother.

Memorials can be made to the family for a memorial fund to be established at a later date in Ken's name.

Memorial Graveside Service for immediate family and close friends will be held at a later date. A celebration will be held in early 2026 so all family and friends can make plans to join his family, who thanks the health care services and his doctors for their care of Ken in this past year. To his friends and family who helped with visits and groceries, your care is forever remembered. Thanks also to Chief Deputy Mike, the EMTS and Olson funeral home for caring for Ken at his passing.

Ken is raised up on eagle's wings and watches over us until we meet again.

Arrangements by Olson's Quiram Sycamore Chapel, 1245 Somonauk St., Sycamore, IL 60178; 815-895-6589. Visit www.olsonfh.com to share a memory or leave a condolence.
