Patsy L. Garren

Patsy Garren, 99, of Rockford Illinois, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025. Born July 17, 1926, in East Peoria, the daughter of Theordore A, and Clara Emma (Thomas) Jacobs. Graduated from Bloom High School and attended Illinois Wesleyan College. She married Donald E. Garren on May 1, 1948. He predeceased her on March 24, 2008. Patsy worked for American Stove Co. as a bookkeeper until 1948. After her marriage she became a homemaker and avid gardener and found a love for sewing.

Survived by her two daughters, Gail D. Jacky and Andrea Garren (Chuck Mizner), and her son David (Colleen) Garren, alongside her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great great grandchild. Predeceased by her parents, husband, and son in-law Richard Jacky.
