Kenneth “Kenny” Dwayne Hurley, 57, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Guilford County and the son of Linda Brown Blue who survives.
Kenny was employed in the automotive industry most of his life. He was very creative and enjoyed working with motorcycles, cars and trucks. Kenny loved dogs and especially his Doberman Pinchers. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Brandi Hurley of Charleston, South Carolina; his mother, Linda Brown Blue of Gibsonville; sisters, Sharon Ramey and husband, John of Greensboro and Tammy Dawkins of Gibsonville; and a nephew, Lance Dawkins and wife Bekah. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bobby Blue and maternal grandparents, William and Ruth Brown.
A service to celebrate Kenny’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Simmons. A private burial will be held at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 PM prior to the service on Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the home.
