Kenneth Wayne Lord was born April 02, 1963, to Bill Lord and Sue Miers in Eunice, New Mexico. Kenny went home at the age of 61, March 18, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas surrounded by family.
Kenny was a lifelong resident of Eunice, New Mexico. He was a member at 1st Baptist Church of Eunice. During his High School days, and a bit after he rodeoed at playdays, and team roped (headed). He enjoyed many outdoor activities throughout his life from horses to deer and elk hunting, fishing up at Conchas Lake, camping and riding motorcycles. There wasn’t a Saturday night that you wouldn’t catch him at the stock car races during race season. For many years he was there grilling hamburgers and more recently sitting in the stands enjoying the races and visiting with folks. Kenny was a good man that loved his family. He was a kindhearted, caring man. If you were in need and he could help he would always. Kenny loved all kids but loved his grandkids deeply. He loved having them around and spending time.
Kenny is preceded in death by his best friend Sammy Hodges.
