Mr. Kenneth Kenny Peter Kokinda

Kenneth "Kenny" Peter Kokinda age 66, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Saturday – December 24, 2022. He was born in LaPuente, California to the late Ernest Michael and Donna Jo Ledford Kokinda. He retired from Cotton's Service Center in Ringgold, GA where he was a mechanic for several years. Kenny has resided in the Ringgold area for the past twenty-seven years and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed drag racing, riding and being around horses and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy & Opal Ledford. Kenny is survived by his children: Kevin Kokinda, Korey (Teri) Kokinda all of Ringgold, GA, Kelly (Darryl) Dickson of Woodstock, GA, grandchildren: Alexandria Marcus, Myriah Marcus, Abigail Marcus, Sophia Dickson, Dakota Dickson, Riley Kokinda, Kaylee Kokinda, Elizabeth Kokinda, Michael Kokinda, Jacob Kokinda, brother: Jeff (Jenny) Kokinda of Grand Terrace, CA, niece: Ally Fazio. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm – Monday – January 2, 2023 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Gardens – Ringgold, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made for the funeral expenses.
