Kenneth Killworth

Kenneth "Ken" E. Killworth, 84, of Churubusco, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, at his home. He was born in LaOtto, to the late Earl and Edna (Poehlin) Killworth. He spent his formative years in the area and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1957. Ken was married to Janice Johnson in Coldwater, MI, on February 15, 1958. Together they raised their three children in this community. Ken was the Plant Manager at Cooper Industrial Products in Auburn. He retired in 1994, after 35 years of service. He attended the Chapel in Fort Wayne and served on the Eel River Cemetery Board as President for a period of time. Ken was a woodworker and made many intarsia pictures for friends and family. Ken is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janice Killworth; their three kids, Tamara (Michael) Pick, Kevin (Tuyet) Killworth, and Lisa (Matt) Turner; two sisters, Marlene Smith and Kathryn Boshet; seven grandchildren, Philip Pick, Andy (Abby) Pick, Kyle Killworth, Colette Killworth, Kerry Killworth, Hannah (Evan) Ferch, and Jordan Turner; four great-grandchildren, Jensen, Oliver, Milo, and A.J. The family will have private services. Burial will take place in the Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco. Memorials may be directed to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
