Kenneth Eugene Klenklen, 59, of Ozawkie, KS was found deceased September 21, 2021 in rural Valley Falls, KS. He was born May 8, 1962, the son of William Fredrick and Dolores Lea Wood Klenklen. He attended high school in Valley Falls, and worked as job foreman as a brick layer, chamberlain waterproofing in Topeka and S&W Waterproofing in Topeka before retirement about 2008. Kenny was a proud member of the Ozawkie American Legion Post 225. He enjoyed fishing and supporting the Kansas City Chiefs. He married Melanie Christine Bowen, they later divorced. Survivors include his father, one daughter Nicole Klenklen, Topeka, one son, Alex Klenklen, Meriden, One brother, Kevin (Jaime) Klenklen, Oskaloosa, and three sisters, Janet (Russell) James, Ozawkie, Carol Klenklen, Wichita, and Donna (Randall) Klenklen-Pelfrey, Rossville, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, and one brother, Joseph Klenklen.
Visitation services will be 1-2 PM Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Ozawkie American Legion, with a "Celebration of Life" gathering 2-5PM following the visitation. *The family asks that all attendees PLEASE WEAR YOUR CHIEFS ATTIRE. Private family inurnment will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Valley Falls at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Barnett Family Funeral Home, PO Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS 66066 to assist the family with funeral arrangements.
