Kenneth W. Kulinski

Kenneth W. Kulinski, age 80, was a resident of Wauconda, IL, for 32 years.
Kenneth was the beloved husband for 36 years of Mary (nee Jahnke); loving father of Kevin (Debbie), Deborah (Scott) Fippinger and the late Cathleen (Mark) Beckwith;
cherished grandpa of Caitlin and Dylan Fippinger and Chase Kulinski; dear brother of Edward, Ann Marie, Carole, Margaret, Jane, Susan and the late Thomas. Preceded in death by first wife Sherry Kulinski (nee LaPaglia) who passed away September 28, 1987.
Kenneth was born July 16, 1945, in Chicago, to the late Edward and Irene Kulinski and passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Journey Care in Barrington, IL.
Kenneth proudly served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1970, including active duty during the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated member of American Legion Post #911 in Wauconda, IL, and served as a Boy Scout Leader in Palatine, IL.
Kenneth worked for Hewlett Packard/Agilent for 37 years in Rolling Meadows, IL as a technician in the Test and Measurement Group and then later as a Quality Assurance Manager.
Kenneth was vibrant and full of life-always among the first to hit the dance floor at weddings. He had a deep love for Polka and country music and especially enjoyed two-stepping. One of the happiest chapters of his life began in 1993 when he and Mary moved to Wauconda, IL, where he could fully embrace his love for the outdoors.
Together, they cherished their time caring for horses and chickens, and Kenneth had a special bond with the many dogs he loved over the years. He was a true traditionalist, especially during the holidays. Christmas wasn't complete without his homemade mushroom soup and pierogi, and on Easter, he served Polish sausage and ham-honoring his heritage and creating lasting memories for those around him.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4-8 pm at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home 235 N. Main St., Wauconda, IL 60084. On Friday, prayers will start at the funeral home at 9:30 am, proceeding to Transfiguration Church 348 W. Mill St. Wauconda, IL, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL.
