Lora Beth Kulinski

LORA BETH KULINSKI 

            Lora B. Kulinski, 68, of Deford, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 24, 2024 in McLaren Caro Region Hospital.  Lora was born July 31, 1955 in Cass City to Norman Robert and Virginia Anita (Bluhm) Crawford.   

            Lora graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1973.  She married Richard Kulinski on July 26, 1980. Lora worked at General Cable and Anrod Screen Cylinder Company of Cass City before becoming a homemaker.  During the 1990’s and early 2000’s she was employed as a bus driver for Cass City Public Schools and later helped with scheduling bus routes.  Lora was a self-taught and talented seamstress and made numerous quilts.  She created many of her own patterns and made her wedding dress and her daughter’s prom dresses. Lora was very involved in Cub Scouts; both of her sons earned the distinction of Eagle Scout.  Her husband, Richard started Boy Scout Troop # 593 in Deford and she was very active in helping him with this.  She also served by organizing Cub Scout Day Camp.    

            Lora is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Richard; children:  Amy (Ralph) Ames of Caro; Cory (Tanya) Kulinski of Cass City; Kevin Kulinski of Deford; grandchildren:  Nicole, Madison, Noah, Parker; sisters:  Anita Crawford of Phoenix, AZ; Sharla Crow of Sikeston, MO; Sharon (Al) Maurer of Bad Axe; she loved her cats:  Piper, Annie, Macaroni.    She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Crawford; sister, Manette Crawford; father-in-law and mother-in-law:   Chester (Alice) Kulinski.    

Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Sam Leppert, Funeral Celebrant officiating.   Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.  Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery.
