Mary Beyette, age 100, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026 in Marlette. Mary was born on December 28, 1925 in Marysville, the daughter of the late Albert and Blanche Riddering. She was the youngest of the four children and was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kirk, Albert, and Don. She graduated from Michigan State University as a Home Economics teacher. In 1948, she married Charles Beyette and the couple was happily married for sixty-seven years. Mary lived a long life marked by faith and service. She was a lifelong Presbyterian and most recently was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Cass City where she served as a Deacon for many years.
Mary is survived by her children, Garth Beyette (Joyce) and Renee Lacombe; her grandchildren, Brogan Beyette, Todd Lemense (Jhoan), Rianne Harding (David), and Rachelle Lazaroti (Alex); and her great-granddaughter, Aria Renee Lazaroti. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews with whom she was very close.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life which will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Ransford Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Michele Hile officiating. Visitation will take place before the service from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Mary’s family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at American Hospice Care and Marlette Senior Living for the compassionate and loving care they provided to Mary during her time there and throughout her final days. In lieu of sending flowers for the funeral, please consider giving flowers to express love to someone in your life.
